I think it is time to talk about something that many magicians like to keep secret but a lot of braver people have tried to expose. Not only did I raise my own daughters, but I parented a series of foster daughters over the years and I've watched them as they try to emulate what they think is society's norm as fed to them by that electronic pimp. I've seen them diet to stick-thin proportions after watching Calista Flockhart, dress like tarts because they so loved Madonna (or whoever it is flaunting their flesh on videos now), spend all their money on labeled clothes just like Beverly Hills 90210, speak like idiots from The Valley, and talk of implants and lipo-suction after some hideous reality show based on plastic surgery. They do it to feel normal.

Genius cannot be contained, and no one wants to see it reduced to mediocrity. I see it celebrated everytime I watch "The Shark Tank". The people in the film were not oligarchs, just because they are successful achievers, they become oligarchs when they want to apply inordinate influence on institutions and representatives that belong to the people, not there to be manipulated to skew the operations of government and policy to its advantage. ONE MAN, ONE VOTE, the aristocrats cannot be allowed to use their wealth to bribe our elected representatives into changing that basic premise. Since, I did not see these characters attempt to bring that influence into the Government, they are ok.
Help!! I connected the dvi to hdmi and the 3.5mm to rca cable and the first time i had picture, and very good too but no sound. I read on a wensite that you should do a restart of the macbook pro as it's connected to the tv. I did that and now all i see, instead of the macbook's desktop and anything i do or watch on it, the mac blue screen that looks as if you are in space, you know, the one you see when installing major updates or when you install the snow leopard for example. Is this normal or do i start and worry now? It would be great if you could help. My tv is the panasonic viera tx-p42u10b. Thanks in advance.
Pieter, you're not in love, you're in lust. Besides, there are a lot of things that could be causing your friend to act the way he is. Regardless, it's not your problem. Stop wasting your time with someone who's not going to reciprocate your feelings, and go find someone who will.
