Unless you've been living in a cave for the last 8 years, everyone knows about American Idol. Time is measured by the sun and moon. One rotation of the earth around the sun is 1 day, and so on. If you could travel outside of this universe where the sun don't shine, you would not be subject to time. And when this age ends, time will end, and the righteous will spend eternity with God.

Some of Cesar Millan's techniques work quite well, including body blocks (what you describe as claiming space). In fact I have also written about all this. However, not all of his techniques work as well, and some of them may encourage aggression in dogs.
Understanding the media then is understanding the definition of terms that apply and operate within the present technological societies in a global mosaic and extending man in all directions, shapes, form, existences and realities-within multiple environments. In the case of South Africa and elsewhere Africans, barely surviving from domination, colonization and Imperialism, these technologies come into this post-slave environment called 'colonization,' and these new media technologies are now enabling and resuscitating long established cultures.
One day I went down to our basement to use the computer. I hit a key and up came a photo of a naked woman on her back with her legs spread open. I was horrified. At first I thought it was some random pop-up ad, but then I clicked around and found dozens of other images of women engaged in all kinds of unbelievable sex acts. I snooped a bit more and found erotic e-mails he'd written and even more photos. I felt as if I was married to a stranger. A perverted stranger.
