Unpredictable and often ridiculous, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the dark comedy you didn't know was missing from your life. Think of it as Seinfeld on steroids. The show follows a group of friends who own a bar and get into all sorts of trouble. You might not want to be buddies with them in real life, but they're fun to watch on TV. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is offensive and disturbingly funny. In other words, the perfect weekend binge, as long as you're willing to purchase it.
What I still find amazing, is the fact that his facial features could change while carrying on a conversation. I've watched him changing from one person to another (while deciding which one was the most attractive, although I have realized from the start (after meeting him in person) that he was suffering one or another mental disorder). I've never seen such a phenomenon in my life. I mean, physically changing facial features! Scary! Wish I could have it all on a video. The worse of all: One cannot convince a con-artist that his perspectives and perceptions are wrong. They are trapped in their own game, denying their true identity completely. I still wonder if he was, perhaps, schizophrenic.
I have personally been in shelters in Phoenix, Las Vegas, New York, Pensacola, and Reno. So far the one with the most recourses is Reno, the shelter itself gives you 3 months and there is a program thru HUD that helps homeless people with a mental diagnosis to gain permanent housing. There are so many places that do make it harder on a person to be homeless, when you go on a job search and use a shelters address you are looked down upon, when you try to beg for money you are looked down upon. We are the bottom 1% of the population but we are far from invisible. If people want to get rid of the homeless they need to make it easier to get jobs and stable housing. We need more than a handout, we need to feel like we matter. A guy at the shelter had a heart attack yesterday and died at the hospital and someone stole his hat out of the property room.
