Binge-Watching Billions Our columnist invests in three seasons of the hit Showtime series Billions. I like being a woman in God's plan. As often as I am told that I need to "get with the 21st century" and that "women have rights" I often laugh. I would prefer to be a woman today than a man during any age of our human history. I enjoy biblical, submissive womanhood, and here are some of the reasons why.
That's the idea behind my company's humanitarian work with Bill Gates, which I discussed in my 2010 TED talk. We're not the first to apply first-world technology to developing world problems, but we think we have something special to contribute as a company dedicated to invention. We apply all of the same brain power and capabilities used in our for-profit invention work and focus them on inventions to improve life in developing countries.
Dr Toure, secretary general of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), believes that we no longer face a digital divide, but a broadband divide. Looking at mobile subscription rates for developing countries this certainly seems to be true. Over one billion people throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America now have access to mobile phones and are actively using them for services such as mobile banking.
I pray that i am not that person that you have discibed. Is it possible to be that type of person without knowing? I have always loved my wife and best friend. But the thought of being the perp instead of victim is very scary. Even though our devorse is said and done and we are not together any more. I can't help but wonder was it my fault or hers? Even now after 7 years i am still seeking answers to our failed marriage. I constantly think of my ex and even have dreams of her I just don't think I will ever get over losing her and in the same year I lost my oldest sister, and i feel that i have been depressed ever since. I don't know about the answers to my lost marriage but im glad you were able to find your answers. I pray and congratulate you for publishing your article, I can relate to some of the things you discibed but still not sure of what i could have done better. I pray i will find answers soon.
