SHOWTIME Original Series & TV Shows
The traditional television broadcasting model is changing, and broadcasters (both free-to-air and with paid services), as well as telecommunications companies (cable and IPTV) are facing new challenges, because the Internet is gaining more and more power to control a whole new world of TV viewing. To avoid such confusion, society consents to have its choice narrowed to ideas and objects brought to its attention through propaganda of all kinds. There is consequently a vast and continuous effort going on to capture our minds in the interest of some policy or commodity or idea. It might be better to have, instead of propaganda and special pleading, committees of wise men who would choose our rulers, dictate our conduct, private and public, and decide upon the best types of clothes for us to wear and the best kinds of food for us to eat. But we have chosen the opposite method, that of open competition.
Halo offers a great single-player story experience with a great array of weapons and vehicles available to players. The games in the franchise also offer an exciting multiplayer experience (one of the best on console) with many exciting game modes to keep you busy while also taking great advantage of the various weapons and vehicles that you'll get introduced to in the campaign.
Some will find Hide Your Smiling Faces' minimalism to be a somber slog, and those turned off by movies that aren't heavy on plot should certainly steer clear. But if you like a philosophical portrait of adolescence, wherein the heady themes are portrayed through lush visuals, you'll find plenty to ponder and admire in Hide Your Smiling Faces. It's one of the most striking independent films in recent memory.
Generation after generation has grown up with Television as a normal everyday part of their lives. I know men and have lived with women that cannot sleep unless the TV is turned on and murmuring in the background. I know people that get every bit of their information, news and knowledge from this device and have never read a book outside of school in their entire lives. These people accept everything that comes from their Television as the unequivocal truth, even 'believing' Reality TV is not scripted.
