My husband's family on the other hand is the total opposite. Doing it themselves is always the first option. They understand how these things work and the thought of failure doesn't seem to intimidate them. They all have the gene my family lacks. (These are the people who put in a wall on moving day, remember? Just for kicks.) Brett's brother Eric completely renovated a 1904 craftsman by himself. We are talking removing a fireplace, redoing siding, electrical, plumbing, putting in a new kitchen, bathrooms, hardwoods, etc. You get the idea. Brett's parents think nothing of putting in a floor over a weekend. I stand in awe of these people.
I think it is not likely that Mrs. Clinton will win a general election for president this fall against Mr. Trump. She is winning the primary only because so many of the important ones are closed to independents. Mrs. Clinton is despised by the Democrat party base, except among older women and older African Americans. All of the political energy and excitement in the Democrat party is with Senator Sanders this year, and his supporters are adamantly opposed to Mrs. Clinton and her transactional brand of pragmatic politics. I do not believe she will win them over, no matter how much she tries to sound like Senator Sanders after the convention. And of course, the more she pulls left to bring in the progressives she needs to win, the more Mr. Trump will slaughter her with moderates and center-left voters.
The ready access of media into everyday lives has naturally spread into the medium of presentations. People are exposed to sight, sound and motion in every minute of their lives, and thus expect a multimedia experience when they watch a presentation. Presentations must leverage multimedia to stir audiences. As such, presentation technologies, like PowerPoint, Keynote and Ontra, that make it easy for users to include a variety of media, have become a standard of communication throughout our culture.
