But according to the authors of a book series chronicling the history of Star Trek , that wasn't always the case.
Drunvalo Melchizedek in his book The Ancient Secret of the Flower Of Life, Vol. 2, confirms this story with a report of two experienced mountain climbers obtaining a permit to climb in the area found the entrances to this cave system but that it had been sealed up. He also goes on to say that this entire region of the Grand Canyon has a no fly zone restriction instituted and that the US Military has now blocked off and fenced in the region.
