Are you a Smallville fan who wants to watch Smallville online, because you don't have CW? Join the fun in the town of Bedrock with this fabulously famous modern Stone Age family, created by animation legends William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Mowing the lawn with a saw-toothed dinosaur, showering with water sprayed from a woolly mammoth's trunk, and eating brontosaurus burgers are everyday events for the lovable Fred and Wilma Flintstone and their friends Barney and Betty Rubble. Living in prehistoric times has its drawbacks, but the Flintstones and their neighbors survive in style. So have a yabba-dabba-doo time with 'The Flintstones'.
The changes don't end there. The tiny speaker wedged into the Watch is noticeably louder than in previous models - perfect for listening to Siri responses and Walkie-Talkie messages. Apple also moved the microphone to the Watch's opposite side to help prevent interference and feedback. Meanwhile, the digital crown - the tiny dial on the Watch's right side - has been slimmed down too. It's just as easy to use as before, but the Watch now haptically clicks when you use it to scroll through long lists. It's a neat flourish, though hardly necessary. Oh, and the side button now sits flush against the Watch's body. This doesn't actually affect the way you use the Watch, but it seems like an obvious way to prep people for the kind of solid-state, pressure-sensitive button that's rumored to be coming to the Watch next year.
OK, fine. HBO's pitch-black corporate comedy probably isn't for all ages. In fact, you want to be very careful who you treat to this foul-mouthed treasure. However, after a few hours pulling out your hair feeling like your own family is the worst, most-twisted assemblage of people to ever share the same DNA, it might be gratifying to watch the backstabbing Roy clan to realize things could always be entertainingly worse. Succession gets bonus points for an all-time classic Thanksgiving episode that features the pleasures of James Cromwell and Brian Cox acting to-to-toe. - D.F.
Originally launched in March, the CBS App for iOS has been downloaded nearly 4 million times. In addition to full-episode streaming, the iOS app recently added the CBS Connect iPad App's synced second-screen experiences and social TV features as well as Connect Live, 's weekly live video chats with CBS talent. Both CBS Sync and Connect Live will extend to the Android app this fall.
It's easy to grasp the potential of a modular wearable like Blocks. If you wanted insane battery life, for example, you could turn the whole band into a secondary power source. Simple fitness tracking could be done by one link containing a gyroscope and accelerometer, while another housing a heart rate monitor and blood oxygen sensor could offer richer analyses. Similarly, outdoorsy types could pair a GPS module with one packing an altimeter, thermometer and barometer. Modules with SIM-card slots and cellular radios, RFID and NFC chips, cameras and microphones - all useful features alone and in combinations. And then there's anything third-party module makers dream up.
